Saudi Arabia strongly criticizes Israeli statements about Philadelphi Corridor

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned recent Israeli statements regarding the Philadelphi Corridor, a narrow band along Gaza’s border with Egypt. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s denunciation of Israel’s attempts to justify violations of international laws and norms. Saudi Arabia vowed its solidarity and support for Egypt in response to these Israeli allegations. The Kingdom warned of the consequences of such provocative statements, stating they could undermine mediation efforts by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States to reach a permanent ceasefire.
