Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny is set to make his acting debut in Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming film, Caught Stealing. The crime thriller, based on Charlie Huston’s novel, will also star Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler. Bad Bunny’s character in the movie has not been revealed yet. The film follows the story of Hank Thompson, a former baseball player played by Austin Butler, who gets caught up in the criminal underworld of 90s NYC.

Bad Bunny has been on the rise in the entertainment industry, recently completing his Most Wanted Tour in support of his album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Manana. The Grammy-winning artist made his acting debut in Narcos: Mexico, playing Arturo “Kitty” Paez, and later appeared in Bullet Train alongside Brad Pitt as an assassin named Wolf. He also starred in Cassandro alongside Gael Garcia Bernal. Additionally, Bad Bunny is involved in producing, serving as a producer on the Netflix adaptation of They Both Die at the End.

Directed and produced by Darren Aronofsky, Caught Stealing is set to be an exciting project. Aronofsky, known for films like Black Swan and The Whale, is producing the movie with Ari Handel through their company Protozoa Pictures. The pair has previously collaborated on successful projects such as Requiem for a Dream, Noah, and Mother. Aronofsky also has an upcoming Elon Musk biopic in the works with A24, the studio behind The Whale.

Bad Bunny’s involvement in Caught Stealing adds an exciting element to the film, showcasing his versatility as an artist and actor. His previous acting roles have been well-received, and his production work on They Both Die at the End demonstrates his multifaceted talent. With Aronofsky at the helm of the project, Caught Stealing promises to be a captivating crime thriller with an all-star cast. Fans of Bad Bunny and Aronofsky’s work can look forward to seeing how the singer’s acting career progresses in this upcoming film.
