Sharjah is set to open a new beach exclusively for women in the Lulu’iya area of Khorfakkan. This initiative comes as a response to the directives of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The 500-meter beach will provide complete privacy for women and offer additional services such as a café, medical clinic, and prayer room. This development aims to cater to the needs of female residents and visitors who seek a space where they can relax and unwind in a comfortable environment.

In addition to the new women-only beach, the Sharjah Ruler has also ordered the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting Al Bardi 6 and Al Batha areas in Khorfakkan city. This move is expected to enhance the movement of residents between the two areas and improve connectivity within the city. The implementation of such infrastructure projects reflects the commitment of the authorities to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Sharjah.

Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, the Chairman of RTA Sharjah, discussed the significance of the new pedestrian bridge during an episode of the Sharjah’s Direct Line radio program. He emphasized that the bridge will support the mobility of residents and improve accessibility between different parts of Khorfakkan city. The RTA will also undertake modifications to the internal roads in the Hayawa area to further enhance the transportation infrastructure in the region.

The unveiling of the women-only beach and the construction of the pedestrian bridge demonstrate Sharjah’s dedication to promoting inclusivity and providing safe spaces for all residents. These developments reflect the visionary leadership of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi and his commitment to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of the people of Sharjah. The new beach is expected to become a popular destination for women seeking a relaxing and private environment to enjoy the coastal beauty of Khorfakkan.

As the news of the new beach exclusively for women in Sharjah spreads, it is likely to attract attention from residents and tourists alike. The unique concept of a dedicated beach for women highlights the efforts of the local authorities to create diverse and inclusive recreational spaces for all members of the community. With additional facilities such as a café, medical clinic, and prayer room, the beach is poised to offer a comprehensive experience for women looking to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the shoreline.

With the development of the pedestrian bridge and the improvements to the internal roads in Khorfakkan city, the authorities are taking proactive measures to enhance connectivity and accessibility within the region. These infrastructure projects are part of a broader vision to create a sustainable and well-connected urban environment in Sharjah. By investing in infrastructure and recreational facilities, the city is positioning itself as a leading destination for residents and visitors seeking a high quality of life and unique experiences.
