The Rajasthani Wing of the Indian Social Club (ISC) in Oman recently organized a grand celebration of the traditional Rajasthani festival, Shravan Utsav -Teej, at the Haffa House Hotel on August 16, 2024. The event saw around 80 ladies from the Rajasthani community coming together to participate in the festivities. The program consisted of cultural activities and celebrations that showcased the rich traditions of Rajasthan, followed by a sumptuous feast for all attendees. The Teej festival, a beautiful celebration for women in Rajasthan, is marked by various rituals and customs performed by the women. They dress up elaborately, pray, and observe fasts all day for the health and wellbeing of their husbands and families.
