The meeting also touched upon the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, as well as the need for a political solution to end the ongoing conflicts. Both ministers reiterated their commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy in resolving disputes and conflicts.

Furthermore, they discussed the global efforts to combat terrorism and extremism, and the role that both Qatar and New Zealand play in this regard. They emphasized the importance of international cooperation and coordination in addressing these challenges, and reaffirmed their commitment to work together to combat terrorism in all its forms.

In addition, the ministers discussed economic and trade relations between Qatar and New Zealand, and explored opportunities to further strengthen bilateral ties in these areas. They highlighted the potential for increased cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, energy, and tourism, and expressed their interest in exploring new avenues for collaboration.

The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to continue working together to enhance the partnership between Qatar and New Zealand, and to explore new opportunities for cooperation in various fields. Both ministers expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting, and reaffirmed their commitment to building a strong and enduring relationship between their two countries.

Overall, the meeting between HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and HE Winston Peters was productive and fruitful, with both ministers expressing their commitment to further strengthening the ties between Qatar and New Zealand. They discussed a wide range of topics, including international development cooperation, regional stability, terrorism, and economic relations, and explored ways to collaborate on these issues in the future. The meeting highlighted the shared interests and values between the two countries, as well as the potential for increased cooperation in various sectors.
