The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched the back-to-school campaign for the new academic year 2024-2025 under the slogan “My School, My Second Home.” The campaign is being held in partnership with Mowasalat Company (Karwa) and Msheireb Properties, and will run from August 18 to 31. The campaign aims to prepare students to return to learning in the school environment with their colleagues through various recreational and educational activities as schools prepare to receive students on the first of September.

The campaign will be held at Msheireb Galleria from August 18 to 31, daily from 4pm to 10pm. The event includes fun and engaging activities to evoke old-school memories, such as a classroom displaying textbooks, old classroom tools, photographs, school films, and other educational materials. The mobile library bus will also be present in front of the Msheireb Galleria headquarters during the campaign, offering interactive educational games through digital devices. These games include questions and answers adapted from the curriculum, various reading books, and a drawing and coloring area.

In addition, from August 25 to August 31, a back-to-school pavilion will be held at Doha Festival City every day from 3pm to 9pm in cooperation with Mowasalat Company (Karwa). The festival will include activities, events, and games aimed at children, along with awareness workshops and interactive activities on the stage. The campaign aims to involve children and students in various educational and recreational activities to prepare them psychologically and mentally for the new school year.

Maryam Abdullah Al Mohannadi, Director of the Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, emphasized the importance of the Back-to-School campaign in motivating students to learn and attend school from the first day of study. She praised the partners’ contributions to the campaign and their belief in the active role in preparing students for the new academic year. Executive Director of Corporate Communications at Msheireb Properties, Dr. Hafez Ali Abdullah, highlighted the inspiration behind the event and the aim to provide an unforgettable experience for children and students while encouraging them to become outstanding learners.

The collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Mowasalat Company (Karwa), and Msheireb Properties in hosting the back-to-school campaign reflects a commitment to preparing students for the new academic year. Through a range of engaging activities, educational games, and nostalgic displays of old school supplies, the campaign aims to create a memorable and impactful experience for children and students. By involving children in educational and recreational activities, the campaign seeks to instill a sense of excitement and readiness for the new school year.

In conclusion, the back-to-school campaign organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in partnership with Mowasalat Company (Karwa) and Msheireb Properties, aims to prepare students for the new academic year through various engaging and educational activities. The campaign, held at Msheireb Galleria and Doha Festival City, offers students the opportunity to participate in interactive games, explore old-school memories, and engage in awareness workshops. The collaboration between the partners highlights the importance of preparing students for the new school year and encouraging them to become active learners.
