The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) in Bahrain conducted 582 inspection campaigns and visits from 11 to 17 August 2024, resulting in the detention of 41 violating workers and the deportation of 157 violators. Violations related to various laws, including the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the Residency Laws, were monitored, and legal measures were taken for observed violations. The inspection visits covered shops in all governorates, with 15 joint campaigns involving government entities such as the Ministry of Interior, Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Police Directorate, General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, and the Electricity and Water Authority.
