Oman Air is committed to promoting Khareef Dhofar and supporting national interests by implementing strategic measures to boost connectivity to Salalah. During peak times, the airline is operating 11 flights per day and has upgraded a number of flights to wide-body aircraft, adding nearly 4,500 seats over the season. In July, Oman Air flew almost 50,000 guests into Salalah, with over 70% using fixed national fare tickets. The Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Rutter, expressed the importance of supporting Salalah as a key tourism destination and offering consistent and transparent pricing to make travel affordable for Omani citizens.

The fixed national fare for flights between Muscat and Salalah is priced at OMR 54 during the khareef season and OMR 64 for the rest of the year. This fare is exclusively available through Oman Air’s website and mobile app, with no limit on the allocation of Omani national fares. However, seats are selling fast and guests are advised to book in advance to secure their flights. Affordable fares are also offered for non-Omanis, allowing more people to explore the beauty of Oman without the burden of fluctuating prices.

By offering maximum capacity with 11 flights per day and upgrading flights to wide-body aircraft, the airline has added nearly 4,500 seats over the season. This has enabled Oman Air to fly almost 50,000 guests into Salalah in July alone, with over 70% using fixed national fare tickets to enjoy consistent and transparent pricing.

With the fixed national fare priced at OMR 54 during the khareef season and OMR 64 for the rest of the year, Omani citizens can travel between Muscat and Salalah affordably and conveniently. The allocation of Omani national fares is not limited, but seats are in high demand and guests are advised to book early to secure their flights. Oman Air also offers affordable fares for non-Omanis, making it easier for more people to experience the beauty of Salalah and support national tourism objectives.

Oman Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Rutter, emphasized the importance of supporting Salalah as a key tourism destination and offering consistent and transparent pricing to make travel affordable for Omani citizens. By deploying maximum capacity to meet demand during khareef season and providing more frequencies than any other airline, Oman Air is committed to promoting Salalah as a treasured touristic asset. With year-round fixed fares, the airline is ensuring that travel between Muscat and Salalah remains accessible and affordable for all, allowing more people to reconnect with loved ones or explore the beauty of Oman without the burden of fluctuating fares.
