The Ministry of Municipality offers services at 28 beaches

The Ministry of Municipality in Doha has made a significant effort to provide services to 28 beaches across Qatar, ensuring the comfort and convenience of visitors. These services include walkways, play areas for children, volleyball grounds, food kiosks, BBQ areas, shaded eating areas, prayer areas, restrooms, showers, and lighting, among many others. Some of the beaches that have received these services include Al Shamal beach, Al Yousifiya beach, Al Arish beach, Marih beach, and Ras Matbakh beach, to name a few.

One of the beaches that received these services is Ras Abu Aboud 974 Beach, which spans an area of 50,000 sqm and is located 7 km from Doha. This family beach has designated two days (Saturday and Tuesday) exclusively for women. It is open daily from 8am to 6pm and offers various amenities such as beach volleyball, a walkway, green areas, shaded eating areas, restrooms, showers, prayer areas, lighting, and food kiosks. Similarly, Al Mamlaha beach is dedicated for women only and provides services like a BBQ area, shaded eating area, food kiosks, restrooms, and showers.

Another beach that has benefited from the Ministry’s services is Al Farkiah beach, which stretches 146,000 sqm and is located 53 km from Doha. This family beach also reserves two days for women only and offers amenities such as a playground, walkways, children’s play areas, food kiosks, shaded eating areas, restrooms, showers, and a prayer area. Saf Al Touk beach, spanning 83,000 sqm and located in Al Khor and Al Zakhira Municipality, is a family beach open from 10am to 10pm. Visitors can enjoy services like shaded eating areas, walkways, children’s play areas, food kiosks, green areas, and restrooms and showers.

In addition to the beaches mentioned above, Al Kharji beach in Al Rayyan Municipality also received services from the Ministry of Municipality. Spanning 89,000 sqm, this beach provides a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy. With the efforts made by the Ministry of Municipality, these beaches have been transformed into comfortable, enjoyable, and family-friendly destinations for everyone to relax and unwind. Whether you are looking to swim, play volleyball, have a BBQ, or simply enjoy the sun and the sea, these beaches offer something for everyone. So, the next time you are in Qatar, make sure to visit one of these beautiful beaches and experience the convenience and comfort of the services provided by the Ministry of Municipality.
