A major road in Abu Dhabi is set to be partially closed starting Saturday, August 17, according to AD Mobility. The closure of two left lanes of Zayed the First St will start from 12am on Saturday and last until 12am on Sunday, August 18. The lanes will be closed in both directions. One lane in the left lane of Zayed the First St will also be closed starting from 12am on Saturday and last until 6am on Monday, August 19. The lanes highlighted in red and blue will be closed, while those in green will remain unaffected. The government authority announced the road closure on social media platform X on Friday.

The road closure is expected to cause disruptions in traffic flow, so motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and allow extra time for their journeys during this period. It is crucial for drivers to stay up to date with the latest news and traffic updates to avoid any inconvenience. Following KT on WhatsApp Channels can provide you with real-time information on the road closure and any changes that may occur. By staying informed, you can make better decisions and navigate through the city more effectively.

The closure of these lanes is necessary for maintenance work and improvements on the road. This temporary inconvenience is aimed at enhancing the safety and efficiency of Zayed the First St for all road users. It is important to comply with the road closure instructions and follow any detour signs or alternative routes that may be provided. By cooperating with the authorities and fellow drivers, the road closure impact can be minimized, and everyone can reach their destinations safely.

If you are unsure about the affected areas or how to navigate around the closed lanes, you can refer to the map provided by AD Mobility. The map clearly indicates the sections of Zayed the First St that will be closed and the areas that will remain open for traffic. By familiarizing yourself with the route and potential detours, you can better plan your commuting schedule and avoid unnecessary delays. Remember to drive cautiously, adhere to traffic rules, and show consideration to other road users during this period of road closure.

As the closure is scheduled to last for a specific period, it is advisable to check for any updates or changes to the road closure timings. The government authority may provide regular updates on social media platforms or through official channels. By staying informed and aware of any modifications to the closure schedule, you can adjust your travel plans accordingly and ensure a smooth journey. It is essential to stay connected and informed to minimize any inconvenience caused by the road closure and make your commuting experience more manageable.
