Residents in the UAE can expect fair to partly cloudy weather on Friday, August 2, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecast. The weather will be cloudy at times, with low clouds appearing over the mountains in the afternoon. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, are expected to blow in the country, causing dust and sand to swirl. Wind speeds could range from 10-25kmph up to 40kmph.

The NCM also mentioned that temperatures will soar up to 43℃ and 42℃ in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, respectively. Humidity levels are anticipated to drop as low as 15 per cent in the mountains, while coastal areas and islands could experience humidity levels as high as 85 per cent. As residents in the UAE prepare for their weekend activities, it is essential to take necessary precautions to stay safe in the hot and humid weather conditions. It is recommended to stay hydrated, wear light and breathable clothing, and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours. Additionally, drivers are advised to exercise caution on the roads, especially with the possibility of dusty and sandy winds affecting visibility.

For individuals planning outdoor activities, such as beach outings or hikes in the mountains, it is important to be aware of the weather conditions and take appropriate measures to ensure safety. Keeping an eye on the sky for any changes in cloud cover and wind patterns can help in making informed decisions while enjoying outdoor pursuits. Following weather updates from reliable sources like the NCM can also provide valuable insights.

The fluctuating weather patterns in the UAE, characterized by sudden changes in temperature, wind speed, and humidity levels, necessitate vigilance and preparedness on the part of residents. By staying informed and proactive, individuals can minimize risks associated with extreme weather conditions and enjoy a safe and pleasant experience in the outdoors. Whether it is a day at the beach, a hike in the mountains, or a leisurely stroll in the city, being weather-aware is crucial for a fulfilling weekend in the UAE.
