UAE sends aid plane to Philippines in the aftermath of deadly typhoon

The UAE has sent relief aid to the Philippines in response to the devastating landslides and floods caused by hurricane Katrina. The UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, directed the humanitarian move to assist the people affected by the natural disaster. The relief efforts included food supplies, shelter supplies, and medical equipment to help those impacted by the typhoon in various regions, including Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Central Luzon, and Bangsamoro.

The UAE’s efforts to provide urgent assistance aim to address the repercussions of the natural disaster, which resulted in casualties and displaced individuals seeking refuge in evacuation centers. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, emphasized the UAE’s commitment to offering humanitarian support globally.
