MoL organizes awareness workshop for Security Services Group employees

The Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, recently organized a workshop for employees and workers of the Security Services Group (SSG) to highlight the risks of heat stress and to promote mental health preservation. The goal of the workshop was to create awareness among workers to prevent workplace injuries, diseases, and heat stress. This initiative is part of the Ministry of Labour’s commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

During the workshop, presentations were conducted to educate workers on ways to prevent heat stress risks and how to maintain occupational and mental health and safety in their workplaces and residential areas. Representatives from the Ministry’s Occupational Safety and Health Department and the Ministry of Health were present to address the workers’ inquiries and provide valuable information on the topic. The Ministry is taking proactive steps by hosting such workshops as part of their campaign “Towards a Safe Work Environment”.

The Ministry of Labour’s efforts are focused on enhancing worker awareness and promoting the importance of adhering to workplace safety guidelines. Through seminars and workshops like these, the Ministry aims to educate workers on preventing injuries at work and creating a safe work environment for everyone. By raising awareness on heat stress risks and mental health preservation, workers are equipped with the knowledge and tools to prioritize their well-being and safety at work.

The workshop conducted for employees and workers of the Security Services Group (SSG) is just one example of the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all.
