Muscat Municipality recently signed an agreement with Saud bin Hilal Al Sabri LLC to lease municipal land in the Al Mawaleh South area in Seeb to establish a unique park and the Diwaniya Omani Sweets Factory. The agreement allows Saud bin Hilal Al Sabri LLC to lease a plot covering 31,182 square meters for 20 years to create a public park with various facilities such as walking and cycling paths, children’s play areas, sports courts, and event spaces. The park will also have kiosks, cafes, restrooms, parking, and prayer areas. Additionally, a section of the project will be reserved for the Diwaniya Omani Sweets Factory, featuring a visitor experience center where guests can learn about traditional Omani sweets manufacturing.
