Leader of Saudi Royal Air Force attends International Aeronautical Exhibition in the UK

Lt. Gen. Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz, the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force, recently attended the International Air Show (RIAT2024) held at Fairford Base in the United Kingdom. He also led the Ministry of Defense delegation at the Centenary Reception of the Royal Canadian Air Force in London, as well as participated in the Global Aviation Chiefs Conference (GASCC). During his visit, Lt. Gen. Turki toured the exhibition pavilions, watched air shows, and visited the Royal Saudi Air Force pavilion, which included a special corner showcasing the achievements of the Saudi falcons team over the past 25 years through various technologies, including virtual reality (VR).

Aside from attending the air shows and exploring the exhibition pavilions, Lt. Gen. Turki also took the opportunity to meet with key military officials. He held meetings with the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, Lt. Gen. David Alvin, and the Chief of Staff of the British Air Force, Lt. Gen. Richard Kington. During these meetings, they reviewed existing relations and discussed topics of common interest. This highlights the importance of international cooperation and collaboration in the field of aviation and defense.

The participation of the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force in international air shows and conferences demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing its aviation capabilities and strengthening its partnerships with other countries.
