Life has become much easier for many UAE residents during the summer holidays as roads are clear of traffic jams, reducing daily commute times significantly. Expats like Awais Toor have seen their commute times slashed by half, saving at least 85 minutes each day. This trend is attributed to the decrease in traffic caused by families traveling for the holidays, leading to quicker and more stress-free commutes for individuals.

Abdul Rahman, a Sudanese expat and dentist, has also experienced a significant decrease in his commute time from Sharjah to Dubai during the summer vacation. Normally taking him one hour and 30 minutes, his commute now only takes 40 to 45 minutes, allowing him to spend more quality time with his family and less time on the road. Aboobacker Shibin, a design engineer, has also seen a reduction in his commute time from Ajman to Dubai, making a positive impact on his daily routine, personal time, and work-life balance.

Working mothers like Sara Al Ali are also benefiting from the reduced traffic during the summer break. With children at home instead of rushing to school, mothers can leave later for work and enjoy a stress-free commute. These changes allow working mothers to spend extra time at home with their families and make their daily commute much more manageable and less tiring. Overall, the decrease in traffic during the summer holidays has had a positive impact on the daily lives of UAE residents, providing more time for relaxation and family activities.
