The Qatari sports delegation is gearing up for the Paris Olympics with the goal of achieving commendable results. Chef De Mission Mohammed Saeed Al Misnad is leading the preparation efforts, ensuring that everything is in place for the athletes to perform at their best. Administrative aspects, managed by the Qatar Olympic Committee, are being taken care of, including logistics, entry into the Olympic Village, and providing essential services for the team.

In addition to the administrative aspects, the technical preparation of the athletes is also a top priority. Al Misnad highlighted the importance of allowing the athletes to undergo final preparations in Europe to acclimatize to the environment. This includes participating in preparatory tournaments to ensure they are well-prepared for the Games. The recent participation of high jump champion Mutaz Barshim in Vienna is a testament to the dedication of the Qatari athletes.

The Chef De Mission expressed confidence in the ability of Qatar’s athletes to win more medals in the Olympics, building on their success in the previous edition held in Tokyo where they won three medals. He emphasized the importance of factors such as proper sleep, training routines, and climate adaptation in the athletes’ performance and mental presence during official competitions. Al Misnad wished success and luck to all the athletes, hoping they can replicate the country’s previous achievements.

Qatar’s historic achievement in Tokyo, where they topped the medal tally among Arab and Gulf nations, has inspired the athletes to continue striving for success. Al Misnad believes that qualifying for the Olympic Games is a great honor and an opportunity eagerly awaited by all sportsmen. The success in Tokyo has set a high standard for the Qatari athletes, motivating them to push themselves even further in Paris and bring home more medals for their country.

Qatar will be represented by 14 athletes from various federations including athletics, volleyball, shooting, weightlifting, and swimming in the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024. The list of participants includes some notable names such as Mutaz Essa Barshim, Abderrahman Samba, and Fares Ibrahim. These athletes will be looking to make their mark on the world stage and continue the legacy of success that Qatar has built in recent years. The country’s sports delegation is ready to showcase their talent and dedication in Paris and make their nation proud.
