As the summer season heats up in the UAE, residents are seeking out unique vacation destinations to explore. Travel industry experts have noticed a trend of UAE residents expanding their horizons and discovering new places with diverse attractions. This year, alongside popular destinations in Europe and CIS countries, New Zealand and Zanzibar are becoming favorites among UAE travelers for summer vacations. The popularity of New Zealand is increasing among UAE residents, with factors such as the opposite seasons, affordability, and picturesque landscapes attracting them to the Kiwi country.

Exotic beach vacations are particularly appealing this year, with South Asian and African countries gaining popularity. Countries like Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Bali, Malaysia, and Thailand are enticing travelers with their rich cultural tapestries and idyllic beaches. Zanzibar and Kenya are also attracting visitors with their pristine shores and untamed wilderness experiences. Additionally, emerging destinations in Eastern Europe such as Latvia and Slovenia are starting to gain interest among travelers, offering unique experiences beyond the popular Schengen countries.

There is a noticeable shift in travel trends among residents of different nationalities in the UAE, with Filipino residents showing a preference for countries in Asia, Australia, and North America. Some residents choose destinations like the Maldives and CIS countries due to minimal visa requirements, while others opt for Japan and East Asian countries. The United States remains a preferred destination for many travelers seeking diverse experiences, with summer holidays allowing residents to explore the vast country and connect with family members in the land of opportunities.

For UAE residents planning summer trips, there is a 10% increase in demand for travel to the USA. With its vast expanse and diverse attractions, the USA offers something for every type of traveler’s wanderlust. Whether it’s exploring natural landscapes, iconic cities, or cultural sites, the US remains a popular choice for residents looking to embark on unforgettable vacation experiences. With new and emerging destinations gaining popularity, residents in the UAE have a plethora of options to choose from for their summer travels, from beach getaways to cultural explorations and wildlife adventures.
