The second edition of the Qatar Toy Festival kicked off at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, attracting a large number of families and children. The festival, organized under the theme “Fun Starts in Qatar”, aims to bring in visitors from the GCC region. Featuring parades, stage shows, live mascots, play areas, and performances by influencers, the festival will run until August 14.

Deena Al Jefairi, a representative of Visit Qatar, highlighted that this year’s festival is bigger and better than the first edition, with over 50 international brands participating. New additions include Mr Bean Corner and a Barney corner, making their debut globally. Visitors can enjoy activities across 10 zones spanning 17,000 square meters, with three new zones introduced this year – anime, movie land, and retail zones.

Promoted among GCC countries as part of Qatar’s summer activities, the festival is expected to become a permanent annual feature in Visit Qatar’s event calendar. With a focus on bringing more international brands and attracting visitors from across the region, the festival aims to grow bigger each year with improved offerings and entertainment options for families and children.

Featuring more than 50 international brands including Barbie, Disney Princess, Hot Wheels, Marvel, and Naruto, as well as five retailers and 53 mascots, the festival offers a diverse range of entertainment options. Over 19 stage shows are planned, including musical performances, science shows, dance acts, competitions, and influencers’ performances, promising endless fun for attendees.

The festival is open from Sunday to Wednesday between 2pm and 10pm, and from Thursday to Saturday between 2pm and 11pm. Tickets can be purchased online at Q-Tickets.com, virginmegastore.com, or at the venue itself. With a wide range of activities and entertainment options, the Qatar Toy Festival promises to be a must-visit event for families and children in the region.
