The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) recently organized a series of Financial Life Skills Workshops for the employees of Nass Corporation in Bahrain. The workshops were aimed at providing essential knowledge and tools for effective personal financial management. Topics covered included budgeting, saving, debt management, investing, and awareness of financial risks such as fraud, scams, and identity theft. The workshops were led by experienced financial experts who brought a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the sessions.

Mr. Malcolm Franklin Smith, Corporate Environmental Health Specialist of Nass Corporation, stressed the importance of financial literacy as a crucial life skill that everyone should possess. Dr. Babu Ramachandran, Chairman of ICRF, highlighted the expertise brought by the financial experts who led the sessions. The workshops were conducted by ICRF Treasurer Mani Laxmanamoorthy and supported by Sharmila Seth, Mahesh Kumar Narayan, Vivek Gupta, and Abishek Gupta. In total, nearly 1,300 workers participated in these workshops, which were spread across seven sessions held over a month.

The workshops provided valuable insights into various aspects of personal financial management, helping employees understand how to better manage their finances and make informed decisions. Participants gained knowledge and skills related to budgeting, saving, debt management, investing, and identifying and avoiding financial risks. The workshops also focused on increasing awareness of potential threats such as fraud, scams, and identity theft, providing employees with strategies to protect themselves.

By equipping Nass Corporation employees with essential financial life skills, the workshops aimed to empower individuals to take control of their financial well-being and make informed choices.
