Abu Dhabi residents were alerted to a yellow weather warning due to the possibility of rain and strong winds hitting some Eastern and Southern areas. The warning was issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) and was in effect until 7pm on the same day. The advisory urged residents to be cautious when going outdoors and to stay informed about the latest weather updates. A map displaying the affected areas was also provided to help residents plan their activities accordingly.

A drizzle was already reported in Al Ain’s Al Qou area in the morning, indicating the onset of the anticipated weather changes. The Abu Dhabi Police advised drivers to exercise caution on the roads due to the potential hazards posed by the weather conditions. While thick, cumulus clouds were expected to form in the eastern and southern parts of the UAE, the possibility of hail, similar to the previous day’s occurrence, was uncertain. The overall weather forecast for the day was clear to partly cloudy, with low clouds prevalent on the east coast in the morning.

Temperatures were expected to decrease compared to previous days, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai experiencing highs of 46 and 44 degrees Celsius, respectively. Humidity levels were forecasted to increase in the evening and persist until Friday morning in coastal areas. Wind speeds were described as light to moderate, potentially reaching 40kmph, while wave conditions were expected to be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. Residents were encouraged to stay updated on the latest news through KT’s WhatsApp Channels to receive timely weather alerts and updates.

In conclusion, the weather conditions in Abu Dhabi were expected to undergo changes, with rain and strong winds potentially affecting certain areas. Residents were advised to take precautions and stay informed about the evolving weather patterns. The decrease in temperatures and increase in humidity levels indicated a shift in the weather dynamics, with light to moderate winds and calm waves prevailing in the region. By following the recommended safety measures and staying updated on weather advisories, residents could effectively navigate the changing weather conditions and ensure their well-being.
