Oman Housing Bank recently launched its “Wasalnakum” campaign to enhance its developmental role across the Sultanate’s governorates. The campaign aims to provide citizens with guidance on completing financing requests via the Iskan electronic platform. The platform offers services to streamline the financing process, allowing users to check the status of their applications, determine eligibility for financing, and receive step-by-step instructions on registration. This initiative is part of Oman Housing Bank’s efforts to engage with citizens and improve the efficiency of financing services to support Oman’s development goals.

The “Wasalnakum” campaign will be rolled out across several governorates and wilayats, including Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah, South Al Sharqiyah, Muscat Governorate, and Dhofar. Citizens can visit Oman Housing Bank’s booth during the campaign to receive detailed explanations of the Iskan electronic platform and have their inquiries addressed. The bank had previously launched the “Iskan” programme to expedite supported housing finance applications for citizens on waiting lists through partnerships with local banks. These partnerships aim to provide financing options to eligible citizens, ensuring satisfaction and inclusivity.

Arif bin Maqbool Al Zaabi, General Manager of Oman Housing Bank, highlighted the expansion of the bank’s roles through the “Wasalnakum” campaign to reach cities without a presence. The Iskan platform offers electronic services for submitting applications from any location, checking eligibility criteria, choosing a bank for housing finance, and reviewing financing details. Oman Housing Bank plays a key developmental role in supporting housing finance for citizens eligible for government support, contributing to the economic development of the Sultanate.

In the future, Oman Housing Bank plans to expand its roles further by signing agreements with real estate development companies to provide financing options for purchasing housing units in upcoming integrated housing cities. This strategic vision aims to distribute supported housing finance across all governorates, promoting the prosperity of individuals and communities. The bank’s commitment to providing services to clients aligns with the government’s aspirations for development in various regions of the Sultanate.

Overall, Oman Housing Bank’s “Wasalnakum” campaign and Iskan electronic platform represent a significant step towards improving access to financing for citizens and supporting the broader development goals of Oman. The bank’s efforts to engage with citizens, streamline the financing process, and expand partnerships with local banks demonstrate a commitment to empowering Omani families and accelerating the housing movement in the Sultanate. Through strategic initiatives and partnerships, Oman Housing Bank aims to drive economic development, offer diverse financing options, and contribute to the prosperity of individuals and communities across Oman.
