Etihad Airways has announced that they will be operating daily flights between Boston and Abu Dhabi starting on 27 October. The decision to increase flight frequencies comes three months after Boston was introduced as the fourth destination in the United States for Etihad Airways, joining Chicago, New York, and Washington DC. Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport offers guests the convenience of clearing US immigration and customs inspections before boarding, as it is home to the only US Customs and Border Protection facility in the Middle East. This streamlined process allows travelers to simply pick up their bags and go upon arrival in the US.

In addition to the increased flight frequencies out of Boston, Etihad Airways will also be launching daily flights to Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada using their Airbus A350 aircraft, beginning on 27 October. The A350 is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, making it one of the most efficient aircraft types in the world with 25% less fuel burn and CO2 emissions than previous models. The introduction of the Airbus A350 to Toronto aligns with Etihad’s strategy to meet customer demand and expand their network. The airline’s Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, Arik De, highlighted the increased efficiencies and comfort provided by the A350, setting new standards for air travel.

Etihad Airways’ daily flights from Boston Logan International Airport to Abu Dhabi are operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring the airline’s acclaimed Business Studios and Economy Smart seats. The Boston service has been performing strongly since its inaugural flight in March, with flights near capacity. Etihad is excited to invest further in the North American market by expanding flight frequencies out of Boston ahead of the peak winter travel season. The airline also partners with JetBlue, allowing passengers to explore numerous cities throughout North America with convenient connections.

Overall, Etihad Airways’ decision to increase flight frequencies between Boston and Abu Dhabi, as well as to launch daily flights to Toronto, reflects their commitment to meeting customer demand and expanding their network. The introduction of the Airbus A350 to Toronto provides travelers with enhanced efficiencies and comfort, while the streamlined US immigration and customs clearance process at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport offers convenience to passengers. With partnerships in place and a focus on customer satisfaction, Etihad Airways continues to make strides in the aviation industry.
