Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), known as ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,’ has partnered with Villa Mamas by Roaya Saleh, a popular Bahraini restaurant, to introduce Bahraini cuisine to Formula 1 fans in the UK. During the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Villa Mamas by Roaya Saleh offered a food sampling experience featuring traditional and modern Middle Eastern dishes prepared exclusively for the event. Roaya Saleh is recognized for her innovative approach to Gulf flavors and has established a presence in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and London by using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create a diverse menu that blends influences from Iran, India, and Europe.
The food tasting event aimed to provide a glimpse of the Bahrain Grand Prix experience to the 480,000 fans who attended the British Grand Prix. In addition to sampling delicious Bahraini cuisine, fans had the opportunity to engage in various activities such as trying out a giant Scalextric track modeled after the Bahrain GP circuit, experiencing a racing simulator, and having their names written in traditional Arabic calligraphy. Fans were also informed about special ticket offers and travel packages available for the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2025, which is set to take place from 11 to 13 April as the fourth round of next year’s FIA F1 World Championship.
