Brad Pitt, the Hollywood actor, was spotted at the Silverstone motor racing circuit on July 5, 2024, where he was filming for an upcoming Formula One-based movie. The movie will be titled “F1” and is expected to hit the cinemas next year. The project, which is being co-produced by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, has been in the making for the past year, with footage being collected at various F1 circuits around the world.

Some of the F1 circuits where footage was filmed include Silverstone in the UK, the Hungaroring near Budapest, Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, Suzuka in Japan, and Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi. The film will follow the story of a former F1 driver, played by Brad Pitt, who returns to the sport alongside a rookie teammate, played by Damson Idris. Together, they form the fictional team called APXGP. The movie is being directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on “Top Gun: Maverick.”

Brad Pitt was seen walking through the paddock area at Silverstone during the filming of the movie. The film is set to be released in June next year, according to a statement released by F1. The collaboration between Hamilton and Pitt, along with the direction of Joseph Kosinski, promises to deliver a film that will appeal to a wide audience and attract both racing fans and movie buffs alike.

As Brad Pitt takes on the role of a former F1 driver, audiences can expect to see him in action behind the wheel, showcasing his acting skills in high-speed racing scenes. The addition of Damson Idris as his rookie teammate adds another layer of intrigue to the story, as the two characters navigate the challenges and rivalries of the competitive world of Formula One. With the backdrop of iconic F1 circuits and the adrenaline-fueled atmosphere of the sport, the movie is set to be a thrilling ride for viewers.

The choice of filming locations at well-known F1 circuits around the world highlights the global appeal and popularity of the sport. From the historic Silverstone track in the UK to the modern Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, each location brings its own unique atmosphere and challenges for the characters in the film.
