The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has recently introduced two new circular public bus routes aimed at catering to the needs of two popular neighborhoods in the city. The first route, DH1, covers the area between Dubai Hills and Equiti Metro Station, while the second route, DA2, connects Damac Hills and Dubai Studio City. These new bus services are part of RTA’s efforts to improve the internal bus network and enhance connectivity with other forms of public transportation in the emirate.

The DH1 circular bus service operates at one-hour intervals, with the first trip starting at 7.09am from Dubai Hills and the last trip departing at 10.09pm on weekdays and at 12.09am on weekends (Friday to Sunday). On the other hand, the DA2 route between DAMAC Hills and Dubai Studio City runs with a two-hour frequency, starting its first journey at 5.47am and ending at 9.32pm daily. The fare for both routes is fixed at Dh5 per journey, making it an affordable option for commuters in the area.

According to Adel Mohammed Shakeri, the director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, the new bus routes are part of RTA’s commitment to expanding the public bus network and enhancing its integration with other mass transit methods such as the metro, tram, and marine transport. By improving the connections between these various modes of transportation, RTA aims to make them the preferred choice for commuters in the emirate. This initiative is a step towards achieving a more efficient and sustainable public transportation system in Dubai.

With the introduction of these new bus routes, residents and visitors in Dubai can enjoy enhanced connectivity and convenience when traveling between popular neighborhoods in the city. The efficient and affordable bus services provided by RTA play a crucial role in reducing traffic congestion and promoting sustainable transportation options. By expanding the public bus network and improving connectivity with other modes of transportation, RTA is taking proactive steps towards creating a more integrated and efficient transportation system for the residents of Dubai.

The RTA’s emphasis on improving the internal bus network and strengthening connections with other forms of public transportation reflects a commitment to providing residents and visitors with a comprehensive and convenient public transportation system. By introducing new bus routes that cater to the needs of popular neighborhoods in the city, RTA is addressing the growing demand for efficient and sustainable transport options. These initiatives align with the city’s vision of becoming a smart and sustainable urban environment that offers residents and visitors a seamless and accessible public transportation experience.

In conclusion, the introduction of the new circular bus routes in Dubai is a significant step towards enhancing the city’s public transportation system and promoting sustainable commuting options. With improved connectivity between popular neighborhoods and other forms of transportation, residents and visitors can enjoy a more convenient and efficient travel experience. RTA’s commitment to expanding the public bus network and integrating it with other mass transit methods demonstrates its dedication to providing a comprehensive and sustainable transportation solution for the residents of Dubai. By prioritizing the development of a reliable and accessible public transportation system, RTA is contributing to the city’s vision of becoming a leader in smart and sustainable urban mobility.
