The 5th edition of the Poland-Qatar New Tech Forum is set to take place in Warsaw, with the signing of several agreements between the two countries on the agenda. Paweł Kułaga, Chairman of Qatar-Poland Business Council, emphasized the importance of the event in strengthening the strategic partnership between Poland and Qatar. The forum aims to promote innovation and technological advancements while showcasing support from key Polish and Qatari institutions, coinciding with H H the Amir’s official visit.
The event will focus on crucial sectors for Polish-Qatari cooperation, particularly transportation and logistics, featuring leading companies from both countries such as Qatar Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, QTerminals, and Zarząd Morskich Portów Szczecin i Świnoujście. Discussions on emerging technologies and the signing of important bilateral agreements will also be a part of the forum. Among these agreements is one to support the incubation and acceleration of startups from both countries, facilitated by the Qatar Science and Technology Park, Kielce Technology Park, and the Qatar-Poland Business Council.
The forum is organized by various entities including the Polish Trade and Investment Agency, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of Poland, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar, Invest Qatar, and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha. It is also partnered with the Qatari Businessmen Association, the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Qatar-Poland Business Council. Approximately 80 Polish tech companies will be in attendance, showcasing Poland’s advancements in various new tech sectors such as IT services, artificial intelligence, fintech, and more.
