Bahraini artist presents solo exhibition showcasing ‘Dilmunian Ideography’

Downtown Rotana in Bahrain recently hosted the “Dilmunian Ideography Solo Exhibition 2024” by renowned Bahraini photographer, artist, and historian, Mahmood Baglawa. The exhibition showcases Mahmood’s exceptional work focusing on the archaeology, history, and heritage of the ancient Dilmun civilization. With a Master’s degree in history from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Mahmood has dedicated decades to studying the archaeology and history of Dilmun, exploring Sumerian cuneiform writings and Mesopotamian history.
