His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), has recently announced the launch of the largest support bundle for the healthcare sector in Bahrain. This initiative comes following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to increase support for the employment of Bahraini doctors. The support bundle aims to benefit over 700 Bahraini doctors and nurses and includes five main initiatives to provide various forms of assistance.

One of the key initiatives of the support bundle is to cover the cost of obtaining board certification for Bahraini doctors, as well as supporting the wages of doctors working in the private sector during their training period. Additionally, the bundle includes support for international fellowship programs for Bahrainis who wish to obtain specialized training in their field. This will help enhance the skills and knowledge of medical professionals in Bahrain, ultimately benefiting the healthcare sector as a whole.

Furthermore, the support bundle also focuses on providing assistance to graduating Bahraini nurses with bachelor’s degrees by supporting them to obtain various required specializations. This initiative aims to empower and equip Bahraini nurses with the necessary skills and expertise to excel in their careers and contribute effectively to the healthcare system. By investing in the training and development of national talent in the health sector, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlights the importance of creating quality opportunities for healthcare professionals in Bahrain.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman emphasized the significance of continuously investing in national talent within the health sector in Bahrain. By adopting and implementing plans and initiatives that contribute to the sustainability of the healthcare sector and improving its services, the country aims to further enhance its healthcare system. The continuous support and attention given to the healthcare sector by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman demonstrate the commitment to providing top-quality healthcare services to the people of Bahrain.

In conclusion, the launch of the support bundle for the healthcare sector in Bahrain is a significant step towards enhancing the skills and capabilities of Bahraini doctors and nurses. By providing support for training, certification, and specialization programs, the initiative aims to strengthen the healthcare workforce and improve the overall quality of healthcare services in the country. With the commitment of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman and the continuous support from the government, Bahrain is set to further develop its healthcare sector and ensure the well-being of its citizens through top-notch healthcare services.
