After a long wait, Heavyweights India and South Africa are gearing up for the T20 World Cup final. India has not won a T20 World Cup trophy in 17 years and an ICC trophy in 13 years, while South Africa is aiming for its maiden title. The final will take place in Barbados, West Indies, where the two unbeaten teams will battle it out for global glory.

India, led by Rohit Sharma, will face South Africa, captained by Aiden Markram. Both teams have showcased exceptional performances throughout the tournament. India won all their Group A matches and defeated defending champions England in the semifinal. On the other hand, South Africa dominated Group D and secured a spot in the final by defeating Afghanistan in the semifinal.

The match will be played at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados, with a start time of 6:30 pm UAE time on Saturday. Fans in the UAE can watch the live telecast on STARZPLAY with coverage on CricLife Max and CricLife Max 2. In case of rain, there is a reserve day, and if no result is possible even on the reserve day, both teams will be declared joint-winners.

India and South Africa have faced each other six times in T20 World Cup history, with India winning four matches and South Africa winning two. In T20Is, they have played each other 26 times, with India winning 14 matches, South Africa winning 11, and one game ending in no result. This will be the first time these two teams will meet in a T20 World Cup final.

Both teams have a strong squad, with players like Virat Kohli and David Miller showcasing their talent in previous matches. The highest T20I score between the two sides is 237-3 by India, while the lowest score is 87 all out by South Africa. The squads include key players like Ravindra Jadeja and Kagiso Rabada for India and South Africa, respectively.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see who will emerge victorious in this historic final. With talented players on both sides and the desire to clinch the coveted title, the match promises to be an exciting showdown. As the teams prepare to battle it out on the field, cricket enthusiasts around the world are gearing up for a thrilling finale.
