Open Meeting Held in the Southern Governorate with Local Community Members

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, recently hosted an open community meeting at the Governorate Majlis, where residents from different areas of the Southern Governorate were in attendance. The meeting was also attended by Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayat, Deputy Governor, and other officials from the Governorate. During the meeting, His Highness emphasized the importance of strengthening communication with community members and addressing local development needs.

The Governor highlighted the importance of engaging citizens and gathering their opinions and suggestions in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Highness stressed the commitment of the Governorate to establishing effective communication as a fundamental pillar of its work. This includes conducting field visits and inspection tours to understand citizens’ needs and monitor progress on various projects that align with future visions and aspirations in coordination with different sectors of the community.

During the meeting, His Highness the Governor listened to various opinions and suggestions from community members on enhancing security, development, and social aspects in the Governorate. He assured attendees of the continuous follow-up and coordination with relevant authorities to implement proposals that contribute to the development vision that meets the aspirations of residents in different areas of the Governorate. Attendees expressed their gratitude to His Highness for his efforts in communicating with community members, considering local needs, and coordinating with relevant authorities to serve all members of society.

The meeting concluded with attendees appreciating the Governorate’s efforts in achieving integrated work with various sectors to address the needs of all residents. The continuous commitment of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa to engaging with citizens and addressing their concerns was acknowledged by all present at the meeting. It is evident that the Governorate is dedicated to working towards a future of sustainable development and progress in line with the vision set forth by the Kingdom’s leadership.

In conclusion, the open community meeting hosted by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, served as a platform for residents to voice their opinions and suggestions on various issues affecting their communities.
