Dubai Investments, a leading UAE-based investment company, has embarked on a new project called DIP Angola, a mixed-use development spanning 2,000 hectares in Angola’s Dande province, just 50 kilometers from Luanda. This project, set to become Angola’s first fully integrated economic zone, aims to set a new benchmark in urban planning and economic growth in the region. Drawing from the success of Dubai Investments Park in the UAE, DIP Angola promises to create a holistic urban ecosystem that combines industrial, commercial, residential, and recreational spaces to drive innovation, create employment opportunities, and promote sustainable growth.

Khalid Bin Kalban, vice-chairman and CEO of Dubai Investments, highlighted the strategic importance of DIP Angola, stating that it not only aims to support Angola’s economic landscape but also set new standards for sustainable development in Africa. With a focus on modern amenities, environmental sustainability, and versatile infrastructure, DIP Angola is expected to be a catalyst for long-term economic growth and innovation. The project is meticulously planned to accommodate various industries, including residential, manufacturing, logistics, technology, retail, and tourism, with state-of-the-art facilities tailored to specific sector needs.

DIP Angola is strategically divided into multiple development phases to align with Angola’s broader economic objectives, allowing for targeted, scalable growth based on market dynamics. The project’s proximity to the seaport, just 23 kilometers away, and Angola’s free zone under construction nearby enhance its value proposition, supported by robust road infrastructure for improved connectivity and logistical efficiency. The development also offers a range of incentives, such as tax benefits, preferential leasing terms, and access to advanced infrastructure, to attract and retain high-quality investments.

In terms of compliance, DIP Angola is committed to adhering to both local and international regulations throughout its development and operation. This includes obtaining necessary permits, following strict environmental standards, and upholding ethical practices in investment, construction, and operation phases. With a strategic location, diversified industry focus, phased development approach, and commitment to regulatory compliance, DIP Angola is poised to become a transformative project that drives economic growth and innovation in Angola.
