The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has completed major roadworks in the Al Mankhool community, benefiting over 130,000 residents and students in the area. Three main streets in Al Mankhool, including Kuwait St, 12A St, and 10C St, underwent improvements as part of the project. This initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion and enhance traffic flow in the region. The improvements include reducing right-in and right-out lanes, incorporating a U-turn lane on 10 St, and relocating the U-turn on Kuwait St to improve traffic movement.

Hussain Al Banna, CEO of the RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency, highlighted that the Al Mankhool area is known for heavy traffic, and the recent enhancements will significantly improve the traffic situation. The changes implemented at the junctions of Kuwait St and 10C St, as well as Kuwait St and 12A St, are expected to reduce delays by 30% and enhance safety. The project aims to streamline traffic flow, reduce waiting times for vehicles, and improve overall safety on the roads in the Al Mankhool community.

These road improvements are part of the RTA’s ongoing efforts to upgrade the infrastructure of roads across Dubai, ensuring smoother traffic flow and easier movement for residents and commuters. The changes made in Al Mankhool will benefit not only the 130,000 residents living in the area but also the numerous school-goers and students who traverse these roads daily. The RTA’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure reflects its dedication to improving the overall transportation system in Dubai.

The revamp of the main streets in Al Mankhool represents a significant investment in improving the quality of life for residents and commuters in the area. By focusing on enhancing traffic flow, reducing congestion, and improving safety measures, the RTA is actively contributing to a more efficient and sustainable transportation network in Dubai. The recent project underscores the authority’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the community and ensuring a smooth and seamless travel experience for all road users.

Residents and stakeholders in the Al Mankhool community can expect a noticeable difference in traffic patterns and road conditions following the completion of these major roadworks. The RTA’s proactive approach to addressing traffic issues and implementing improvements underscores its dedication to creating a more accessible and efficient transportation system for all. By prioritizing infrastructure upgrades and road enhancements, the RTA is laying the foundation for a safer, more convenient, and more sustainable road network in Dubai.

In conclusion, the completion of major roadworks in the Al Mankhool community by the RTA signifies a significant step towards enhancing traffic flow, reducing congestion, and improving safety on the roads in the area. The improvements made at key junctions and streets demonstrate the authority’s commitment to creating a more efficient and sustainable transportation network in Dubai. With a focus on enhancing the quality of life for residents and commuters, the RTA’s efforts in upgrading road infrastructure will have a positive impact on the overall transportation experience in Al Mankhool and its surrounding areas.
