Dubai Sports World (DSW) is back this year with a bang, offering a plethora of activities for residents. From a free gym to various sporting activities such as volleyball, tennis, cricket, padel, pickleball, and table tennis, DSW is bigger and better than before. With 10 sporting activities across 40 courts spread over 30,000 square feet, it is the region’s largest indoor sports destination. Additionally, free activities are being hosted for residents, including basketball, Teqball, a state-of-the-art CrossFit gym, cricket pitches, and a play area for children.

The basketball court at DSW has been upgraded to a professional one, and recently, ex-NBA player Dale Ellis and Indian actor Rannvijay Singha played a friendly match at the destination. Teqball, a new addition to DSW, is played on a curved table with a football-like ball. The players can hit the ball with any part of their body except their arms and hands, and it is usually played in a best-of-three set. The CrossFit gym at DSW is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is free for visitors from 8am to 12pm, providing residents with a fitness option during the summer months.

For cricket lovers, DSW has several pitches to choose from, with two equipped with bowling machines that deliver different types of balls for players to practice their shots. The play area at DSW is bigger this year, with inflatable castles, a rock climbing area, and other fun activities for children. Parents can drop off their kids at the Kids World corner while they enjoy their own sport or workout. DSW is also inclusive, hosting community activities for all members. There are days designated for the elderly, delivery riders, taxi drivers, and other community members to come in and play on the courts.

With 18 indoor courts, badminton lovers have a vast area to practice their sport this summer at DSW. Those interested in booking any of the courts can do so on the DSW website, with prices starting from Dh50 per hour. In addition to the sporting events, DSW is also hosting free events such as a running club, yoga lessons, HIIT sessions, and other workouts. Residents can take advantage of these opportunities to stay fit and active during the summer months. Overall, DSW offers a diverse range of activities for all residents to enjoy, making it the perfect destination for sports enthusiasts in Dubai.
