The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) in Saudi Arabia has made a significant arrest of two Pakistani expatriates who attempted to sell 26 kg of methamphetamine. The individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action. The security authorities are urging the public to report any information regarding drug smuggling or selling by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province and 999 in other regions of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the GDNC at 995 or through email for strict confidentiality.

The border guards in the southern Asir region have also been successful in preventing an attempt to smuggle 123 kilograms of hashish and 89,355 narcotic tablets. Following the interception, preliminary legal procedures were carried out, and the seized drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities. This demonstrates the commitment of the authorities in Saudi Arabia to combatting drug trafficking and ensuring the safety and security of the citizens.

Drug trafficking is a serious crime that poses a threat to individuals and communities. The GDNC and other security authorities in Saudi Arabia are vigilant in their efforts to tackle this issue and apprehend those involved in such illegal activities. The public is encouraged to play an active role in reporting any suspicious activities related to drug smuggling or selling. By working together, law enforcement can effectively combat drug trafficking and protect the well-being of society.

The GDNC emphasizes the importance of confidentiality in reporting information related to drug trafficking. All reports made to the authorities will be treated with strict confidentiality to protect the identities of the individuals providing the information. This confidentiality is crucial in ensuring the safety of informants and encouraging more people to come forward with valuable information that can lead to the arrest of drug traffickers.

The successful interception of drug smuggling attempts by the border guards in Asir region highlights the effectiveness of security measures in place to combat drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia. The authorities are continuously working to enhance their strategies and techniques to prevent the flow of illegal drugs into the country. These efforts are critical in safeguarding the well-being of citizens and maintaining law and order in the Kingdom.

In conclusion, the recent arrests of individuals involved in drug trafficking and the interception of drug smuggling attempts in Saudi Arabia demonstrate the unwavering commitment of the authorities to combat this issue. The public is encouraged to report any information related to drug smuggling or selling to the relevant authorities for strict confidentiality. By working together, society can contribute to the efforts to eliminate drug trafficking and protect the safety and security of the community.
