CST records highest data usage with 44.8 million voice calls on Eid day in Makkah

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) recently released telecom indicators for Makkah and the holy sites during Eid Al-Adha 2024, showcasing impressive statistics. The total number of voice calls during this period reached 44.8 million, with local calls accounting for 38.04 million and international calls at 6.76 million. The success rate for these calls exceeded 99%, indicating a high level of connectivity and communication. Additionally, the total data consumption during this time amounted to a staggering 5790 TB, which is equivalent to watching over 2.37 million hours of 1080p HD video clips.
