HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, offered Eid Al Adha prayers at Al Khor Mosque in Muscat. The prayers were attended by members of the Royal family, ministers, advisors, and officials. Sheikh Dr. Kahlan Nabhan Al Kharusi, Assistant Grand Mufti of Oman, led the prayers and delivered the Eid sermon. HH Sayyid Fahd extended greetings to His Majesty the Sultan and the Royal family, praying for their health and happiness, as well as success for the government in achieving growth and prosperity for the country. He also extended his greetings to all citizens and residents on this joyous occasion.

Eid Al Adha is a significant Islamic holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world, marking the end of the Hajj pilgrimage. It is a time of sacrifice, reflection, and giving thanks to Allah for his blessings. In Oman, Eid is a time for prayer, family gatherings, and community celebrations. The offering of prayers at Al Khor Mosque in Muscat, led by HH Sayyid Fahd and other dignitaries, is a longstanding tradition that symbolizes unity and solidarity among the people of Oman.

Sheikh Dr. Kahlan Nabhan Al Kharusi’s sermon emphasized the importance of faith, compassion, and community spirit during Eid Al Adha. He called on people to uphold the values of Islam and to remember those less fortunate, urging them to engage in acts of charity and goodwill. The sermon also highlighted the need for peace, unity, and understanding in society, promoting a message of tolerance and inclusivity among all members of the community.

HH Sayyid Fahd’s prayers for His Majesty the Sultan and the government reflect a sense of gratitude and reverence towards the country’s leadership. By seeking Allah’s blessings for their well-being and success, he demonstrates a deep sense of loyalty and respect for the Sultanate of Oman. His message of unity and prosperity resonates with the spirit of Eid Al Adha, which is about coming together as a community to celebrate faith, friendship, and mutual respect.

As Oman continues to navigate through the challenges of the ongoing pandemic and economic uncertainties, HH Sayyid Fahd’s words of encouragement and hope are a source of strength and reassurance for the people. His message of goodwill and prosperity serves as a reminder of the resilience and determination of the Omani population to overcome adversity and build a brighter future for the country. Eid Al Adha serves as a timely opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewal of faith in the face of challenges, inspiring a sense of unity and solidarity among all members of society.
