Employee well-being and community engagement are becoming top priorities for organizations in the UAE, with 92% of consumers preferring to buy from companies that promote such causes. ORO24, a real estate development company, recently won gold awards at the Employee Happiness Awards for ‘Best Workspace Design’ and ‘Best Community Impact Initiatives’. Their headquarters, spanning 17,000 square feet, is designed to foster creativity and efficiency, featuring amenities like a restaurant, gym, library, and dedicated prayer areas.

Aaliya Rahman, Managing Director of ORO24 Developments, emphasized the importance of creating a workspace that inspires creativity and supports employee well-being. The company has made significant contributions, including a donation of Dh10 million to the Mothers’ Endowment Campaign and a commitment to provide a real estate unit in each new project to the AWQAF scheme. These initiatives support education, widows, orphans, and prisoner releases, as well as contributing to the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives.

Jatin Deepchandani, CEO of Plan3Media, the organizer of the Employee Happiness Awards, commended ORO24’s efforts in championing employee well-being and community impact. He highlighted the importance of recognizing genuine achievements in promoting a merit-based awards culture in the region. As the UAE continues to attract global talent, companies are increasingly prioritizing top-class facilities and social responsibility as essential elements of their business strategies.

The recognition received by ORO24 serves as a timely reminder for companies to focus on creating a sustainable and inclusive future. With the increasing emphasis on employee well-being and community engagement, organizations in the UAE are making significant strides in fostering a positive work environment and contributing to societal causes. By prioritizing these aspects, companies not only enhance their reputation but also attract and retain top talent in the competitive market landscape.

Overall, ORO24’s success at the Employee Happiness Awards showcases the company’s commitment to promoting employee well-being and community impact initiatives. As more organizations in the UAE follow suit and prioritize the welfare of their employees, the business landscape in the region is expected to evolve towards a more sustainable and inclusive future. By recognizing and celebrating achievements in these areas, companies can inspire others to emulate their success and contribute positively to the society at large.
