During the festive season of Eid Al Adha, Dubai Police launched the ‘You made me happy’ initiative to bring happiness to the children of female prisoners. The campaign, part of Dubai Police’s humanitarian initiatives, aims to provide a positive environment for the children of female inmates, according to Colonel Jamila Al Zaabi, Director of the Women’s Prison. This includes access to suitable food and drink, regular medical check-ups, and essential education in reading and writing.

The ‘You made me happy’ campaign is now in its tenth consecutive year and is organized by the Child and Woman Protection Department of Dubai Police’s General Department of Human Rights in collaboration with the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions. The launch of the initiative was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ali Muhmmad Al Matroushi, Director of the Child and Woman Protection Department, along with several officers and personnel from both sides. The goal of the campaign is to promote values of tolerance and love by bringing joy to children through clothing distribution during Eid.

Colonel Al Zaabi emphasized that the prevailing atmosphere in the women’s prison is familial and fraternal, highlighting the efforts made to ensure the well-being of the children of female inmates. This commitment to social responsibility reflects Dubai Police’s dedication to their humanitarian initiatives and their goal of spreading happiness and positivity during the festive season. By providing clothing to the children of female prisoners, the initiative aims to make Eid a special and memorable occasion for these families.

The ‘You made me happy’ campaign demonstrates Dubai Police’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable groups in society, such as the children of female inmates. By providing essential needs and promoting a positive environment within the prison, Dubai Police aims to contribute to the well-being and happiness of these families. The collaboration between different departments within Dubai Police highlights the importance of working together to create a better future for all members of society.

As the campaign enters its tenth year, Dubai Police continues to prioritize the well-being of vulnerable groups, such as the children of female prisoners. By providing essential services and support, Dubai Police aims to uplift these families and bring joy to their lives during special occasions like Eid Al Adha. The ‘You made me happy’ initiative serves as a shining example of Dubai Police’s commitment to social responsibility and promoting values of tolerance and love within the community. Through their humanitarian initiatives, Dubai Police strive to create a more compassionate and inclusive society for all.
