The Ministry of Social Development and Family in Doha, Qatar, recently organized a series of activities and events for injured Palestinians from Gaza who are receiving medical treatment in Doha, along with their companions. The event, which was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Qatar Charity, aimed to provide psychological and moral support for the affected families and bring joy and happiness to the hearts of children who suffer from the effects of war and conflicts.

The celebration included various activities such as inviting the guests to participate in Eid prayers and a luncheon, and distributing Eid gifts to all families present and patients in hospitals by the Zakat Fund administration. Children were also entertained with activities aimed at providing an atmosphere of joy and alleviating their suffering caused by the war. Qatar Charity also distributed Eid gifts to the children of the injured, while Education Above All Foundation and some local institutions distributed Eid clothes.

The initiative was designed to encourage a positive spirit among the affected families and show community solidarity to compensate for the difficult times they have endured. The Ministry of Social Development and Family plays a pivotal role in enhancing social and humanitarian structure by adopting and implementing initiatives and programs targeting various groups, aiming to promote social solidarity and achieve sustainable development.

Overall, this initiative is part of the Ministry’s supervision of the care of wounded Palestinian guests in the State of Qatar, providing them with logistical services, psychological and social support, and comprehensive care. The event was a representation of the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing social and humanitarian efforts, as well as promoting community solidarity and fostering a positive atmosphere for those affected by war and conflicts.
