The Ministry of Works has provided an update on the ongoing road development project in the 633 complex located in the Ma’ameer area of the Capital Governorate. This project is currently 33% complete and is aimed at enhancing the local infrastructure in the area. The main focus of the project is to upgrade Ma’ameer Avenue and the surrounding internal roads, covering a total distance of 4 kilometres. The goals of this project include improving the road network, increasing traffic safety, and facilitating smoother movement for both citizens and residents in the area.

The project includes various activities such as settling dirt and laying asphalt paving layers on multiple roads, establishing a rainwater drainage network, protecting underground utilities, installing new light poles and traffic signs, and painting road markings. These efforts aim to enhance the overall infrastructure of the area and provide a better transportation experience for those living and working in the Ma’ameer area. The total cost of the project has been estimated to be BD1,489,068, showcasing the commitment of the Ministry of Works to invest in the development of local infrastructure.
