Sayyid Badr delivers greetings from His Majesty to the President of Mauritania

President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of Mauritania recently met with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, at the presidential palace in Nouakchott. During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President El Ghazouani, emphasizing the desire for further progress in bilateral relations between the two countries.

President El Ghazouani reciprocated the gesture by asking Sayyid Badr to convey his own greetings and best wishes to Sultan Haitham and the people of Oman. The meeting focused on the existing relations between Oman and Mauritania, with both parties expressing their joint commitment to enhancing these ties in various areas for the benefit of both nations and their citizens.

The discussions also touched on a range of issues and developments at the regional and international levels, highlighting the importance of cooperation and collaboration between Oman and Mauritania. The meeting was attended by Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, as well as Sheikh Saif Hilal Al Ma’amari, Ambassador of Oman to Mauritania.

The meeting between President El Ghazouani and Sayyid Badr underscored the mutual respect and goodwill between the two countries, with a shared commitment to deepening their relationship for the benefit of their people. Both parties expressed optimism about the future of Oman-Mauritania relations and the potential for further growth and cooperation in various sectors.
