Shura Council Speaker holds meeting with Ambassadors from China, Uzbekistan, and Ethiopia

The Speaker of the Shura Council in Doha, Qatar, HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, held separate meetings with the Ambassadors of China, Uzbekistan, and Ethiopia. The focus of these meetings was on discussing and improving the parliamentary cooperation relations between Qatar and these countries. The discussions also included ways to strengthen and develop these relations for the benefit of all parties involved. This highlights the importance that Qatar places on maintaining strong diplomatic ties with other nations.

During the meeting with Ambassador Cao Xiaolin of China, HE Al Ghanim discussed ways to enhance the existing cooperation between Qatar and China. China is a key trading partner for Qatar, and improving parliamentary relations can further enhance the economic and political ties between the two nations. The meeting likely also touched upon other areas of mutual interest, such as cultural exchanges and educational opportunities for citizens of both countries.

Ambassador Ashraf Khodjaev of Uzbekistan met with HE Al Ghanim to discuss ways to deepen the parliamentary cooperation between Qatar and Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is a key player in Central Asia, and strengthening ties with this country can open up new opportunities for trade, investment, and collaboration in various sectors. The discussions likely included ways to facilitate smoother communication and exchange of information between the parliaments of the two countries.

Ethiopia’s Ambassador, HE Faisal Ali Ibrahim, also held talks with HE Al Ghanim on enhancing parliamentary cooperation between Qatar and Ethiopia. Ethiopia is a rapidly growing economy in Africa, and building strong relations with this country can create new avenues for trade and collaboration in various sectors. The discussions likely focused on finding ways to support each other’s parliamentary processes and enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as infrastructure development, agriculture, and technology.

Overall, the meetings between HE Al Ghanim and the Ambassadors of China, Uzbekistan, and Ethiopia demonstrate Qatar’s commitment to building strong diplomatic ties with countries around the world. Strengthening parliamentary cooperation can lead to increased collaboration in various fields, benefiting both Qatar and its partner countries.
