Unexpected medical bills can cause financial stress and strain on your budget. The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention has launched an ‘easy payment initiative’ in partnership with eight local banks to help individuals pay for medical services in instalments through credit cards. This initiative allows credit cardholders to benefit from easy payment options offered by participating banks such as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Ajman Bank, and Sharjah Islamic Bank. Customers can pay for services in instalments over 3, 6, 9, or 12 months for amounts of Dh1,000 or more.

To apply for the easy payment plan, customers must pay fees using their credit cards and contact their bank via call centers or smart applications. The full amount of the fees will be deducted from the customer’s credit card, and they can then apply for the Easy Payment Plan through their bank. The participating banks have set minimum fees, repayment periods, and application procedures. This initiative aims to enhance customer satisfaction and make it convenient for customers to manage their financial obligations, ultimately improving the overall quality of life in the community.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention’s ‘easy payment initiative’ aligns with their strategic plans to embrace innovative financial solutions and enhance customer well-being. By leveraging technological developments, the Ministry ensures the highest standards of efficiency and transparency in their services. This initiative sets new benchmarks for efficiency in government services, making financial transactions smoother and more convenient for customers. It envisions a future where government financial transactions are not burdensome but supportive of customer aspirations and well-being.

Overall, the ‘easy payment initiative’ introduced by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, in collaboration with local banks, offers a practical solution to manage unexpected medical bills and ease financial burdens for individuals. By providing easy payment options for credit cardholders and aligning with strategic plans for customer well-being, the Ministry demonstrates a commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the community. Customers can benefit from the convenience of paying for medical services in instalments through their credit cards, making it easier to manage their finances and improve their overall experience with Ministry services.
