Jean Paul, a prominent figure in Dubai’s hairdressing scene, is gearing up for a grand celebration of his five-decade journey in the city. Originally from Lebanon, Jean Paul’s interest in travel and exploration led him to Dubai in 1975 when he responded to a newspaper ad seeking a hairdresser at the Intercontinental Hotel. Little did he know that this move would lay the foundation for one of the most esteemed salons in Dubai.

Having been inspired by his grandfather’s adventurous spirit, Jean Paul left his small village in Lebanon at a young age to pursue his dreams in Paris. He studied at Ecole De Coiffure Saint Louis and worked with renowned professionals at Roger Bouquin in Paris, which eventually led him to Dubai. The city’s rapid growth and diverse culture provided him with the perfect environment to flourish in his career.

Jean Paul’s daughter, Genevieve, has joined the family business as the manager, ensuring that the salon maintains its high standards. Genevieve’s entrepreneurial spirit was shaped by her father’s dedication and vision for the business. Despite initially studying nursing and working in Lebanon, she decided to join the family business to ensure its continuity and success.

Growing up in a multicultural city like Dubai has allowed Genevieve and her sister, Jana, to interact with people from various backgrounds, shaping their approach to building relationships with clients. Jana, a professional makeup artist, brings her expertise and creativity to the salon’s offerings, further enhancing the family business’s reputation.

The Jean Paul Salon is a renowned family business supported by key family members and dedicated team members. With a focus on artisanal quality, expertise, and timeless styles, the salon continues to uphold its values. As they prepare to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2025, Jean Paul and his team are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all their clients.

The success of Jean Paul Salon can be attributed to the dedication, passion, and hard work of Jean Paul, Genevieve, and the entire team. With a rich history spanning five decades, the salon continues to be a beacon of excellence in Dubai’s beauty industry. For all your hairstyling and makeup needs, Jean Paul Salon remains a trusted destination for quality services and exceptional customer care.
