The Ministry of Transport in Doha, Qatar, has introduced a new package of digital maritime services related to seafarer affairs as part of its ongoing digital transformation and service automation plans. The goal is to enhance performance, streamline transactions, and simplify procedures for the public. These new e-services are currently available for public testing on the Ministry’s official website. They include Attesting the Recognition of the Working on a Tanker Certificate, Attesting the Recognition of GMDSS Certificate, Confirmed Receipt of Application (CRA) Certificate, and Attesting the Recognition of Certificate of Competency (CoC).

With the addition of these four new e-services, the total number of digital maritime transportation services offered on the Ministry’s website now stands at 13, covering small crafts and seafarer affairs. Applicants can receive the services they apply for at their preferred delivery location through Qatar Post. These new digital services enable the public to conveniently apply for the services they need anytime, anywhere, saving them time and effort in the process.
