Prince Salman emphasizes the crucial role of the Arab media sector

The Deputy King of Bahrain, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, recently emphasized the crucial role of the media sector in supporting development efforts during a meeting with Arab Ministers of Information Affairs. HRH stressed the media’s responsibility in promoting regional and global security by providing accurate and credible information on various issues. The meeting, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, aimed to enhance collaboration among Arab countries to achieve collective goals and support growth and development.

During the meeting, the Arab Ministers conveyed greetings from their respective leaders to His Majesty the King and HRH Prince Salman. In return, HRH Prince Salman extended greetings and expressed his hopes that the outcomes of the meeting would strengthen Arab integration and cooperation. He highlighted the importance of Arab media cooperation in supporting the aspirations of citizens and aligning with the visions of Arab leaders. The Ministers expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH Prince Salman and acknowledged his continuous support for Arab collaboration.

In attendance at the meeting were prominent figures such as His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). The presence of these senior officials underscored the significance of the meeting and the commitment to furthering development and progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting underscored the importance of media in promoting security, stability, and development in the Arab region. HRH Prince Salman emphasized the media’s role in providing objective information and supporting joint collaboration among Arab countries. The discussions aimed to strengthen ties and foster greater integration to achieve common goals and enhance the well-being of citizens in the region. The Ministers expressed their appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s support and reaffirmed their commitment to driving progress and development in the Kingdom.
