The UAE Health Ministry has recently updated the vaccination rules for Haj pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia. According to the new guidelines, all travellers are now required to receive flu vaccines and all mandatory vaccinations at least 15 days before their departure. This deadline has been extended from the previous 10 days to ensure the vaccine’s effectiveness and provide sufficient immunity for prevention. Pilgrims are also advised to ensure that their vaccinations are registered on the international vaccination card by accredited health centres and to follow all instructions and precautions before and during travel.

It is mandatory for all UAE pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and Haj rituals to take all required doses of vaccination, especially influenza. MoHAP had previously announced that pilgrims would need to present influenza vaccination cards from March 26 onwards. Travellers are strongly recommended to visit health centres well in advance of their departure, particularly if they have chronic illnesses. Both government health centres and private hospitals offer vaccinations to prevent and control infectious and communicable diseases.

In light of these updated rules, it is crucial for all Haj pilgrims to adhere to the new vaccination guidelines set by the UAE Health Ministry. By receiving the necessary vaccinations at least 15 days before departure, pilgrims can ensure their immunity against diseases and comply with the requirements for travel to Saudi Arabia. It is also important to follow all instructions and precautions provided by health authorities to ensure a safe and healthy journey.

In order to stay informed about the latest news and updates regarding vaccination rules for pilgrims, it is recommended to follow KT on WhatsApp Channels. This will help travellers stay up to date on any changes or developments related to vaccination requirements for Umrah and Haj pilgrims. By staying informed, pilgrims can ensure they are fully prepared and compliant with the necessary health regulations before embarking on their journey.

As the authorities continue to emphasize the importance of vaccination for pilgrims, it is essential for all travellers to prioritize their health and well-being. By taking the necessary precautions and following the updated vaccination guidelines, pilgrims can protect themselves and others from infectious diseases and ensure a safe and fulfilling pilgrimage experience. With vaccinations readily available at health centres and hospitals, travellers can easily access the required doses before their departure for Umrah and Haj rituals.
