The 24th edition of the Dubai Open Chess Tournament is set to showcase a powerful cast of players, including grizzled veterans and young talents hungry for titles. Grandmaster Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan, the 2019 World Cup champion, will lead more than 200 players from 28 countries in the nine-day event. Other notable players include GM Jahongir Vakhidov from Uzbekistan and young Indian grandmasters Raunak Sadhwani and Leon Luke Mendonca.
The tournament, offering $52,000 in cash prizes, will also feature over 80 players with international titles, making it a highly competitive and prestigious event in the international chess calendar.
