Al Jazeera Media Network has been recognized for its outstanding work at the 45th Annual Telly Awards, taking home an impressive total of 109 awards. The theme for this year’s awards was “Beyond the Frame,” and Al Jazeera claimed 20 Gold, 56 Silver, and 33 Bronze awards across various categories. The winners were announced on May 21, 2024, and included some of the most prestigious global brands and media companies in the industry.

One of the standout divisions at Al Jazeera was Al Jazeera English, which secured five Gold awards for series such as “Rescue Mission Gaza,” “Monkey Man,” and “The Accordion Wars,” among others. Al Jazeera Digital also made a mark with seven Golds for its groundbreaking programmes, including “Close Up” and “Decoded.” Additionally, Network Creative was recognized with eight Gold awards for its innovative productions like “Urban Warfare News Report” and “Maria Promo.” The network’s divisions and channels received accolades for a wide range of Arabic and English video content, including documentaries, social videos, explainer videos, and web series.

The Telly Awards, founded in 1979, serve as a platform to showcase the best work in television and video content across all screens. Judged by The Telly Award Judging Council, which comprises over 200 industry experts and professionals from leading production companies, networks, and content studios, the awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the industry. Al Jazeera’s impressive haul of awards at this year’s ceremony is a testament to the network’s commitment to producing high-quality and impactful content.
